Key Responsibilities
- Perform daily cleaning of dishes, pots, pans, utensils, glassware, and kitchen equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of all kitchen areas, including floors, walls, and storage spaces.
- Operate dishwashing machines efficiently and ensure proper sanitization of all items.
- Assist in the proper storage and rotation of kitchen inventory, including dry goods and equipment.
- Collect and dispose of waste and recycling materials in accordance with hotel policies and environmental regulations.
- Support culinary and service teams with setting up and breaking down events, as required.
- Adhere strictly to all health, safety, and hygiene standards and procedures.
- Report any maintenance issues, damages, or safety hazards to the supervisor promptly.
- Contribute to a positive team environment, collaborating effectively with colleagues across departments.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Steward or in a similar cleaning role within a hospitality setting.
- Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and sanitation standards.
- Ability to operate dishwashing equipment safely and efficiently.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high levels of cleanliness.
- Good physical stamina and the ability to stand, bend, and lift heavy items for extended periods.
- Reliable, punctual, and a strong sense of responsibility.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Basic understanding of health and safety regulations.

- SSCE or equivalent qualification.
