Career.zycto is seeking a highly skilled, reliable, and professional Private Driver for immediate hire in the Sangotedo, Lagos area. You will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of executives or private individuals, ensuring their comfort and adherence to scheduled itineraries. This role requires an individual with an impeccable driving record, profound knowledge of Lagos road networks, particularly the Lekki-Epe axis, and a proactive approach to vehicle maintenance and route planning.
As a Private Driver, your daily responsibilities will extend beyond simply driving. You will be expected to maintain the assigned vehicle in pristine condition, both mechanically and aesthetically, performing routine checks and arranging for professional servicing when necessary. The ability to anticipate traffic patterns, choose optimal routes, and adapt to last-minute changes with grace and efficiency is paramount. Key Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently transport executives or private clients to designated locations in and around Sangotedo, Lagos, and other areas as required.
- Plan and execute optimal routes, considering traffic conditions, road closures, and client preferences to ensure timely arrivals.
- Conduct daily vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness, cleanliness, and comfort; perform minor maintenance tasks and arrange for professional servicing.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws and regulations, maintaining an impeccable driving record.
- Maintain strict confidentiality regarding all passenger information, routes, and personal details.
- Assist passengers with luggage and other items as needed, providing courteous and professional assistance.
- Be flexible with working hours, including occasional evenings, weekends, or public holidays, based on client's schedule.
- Maintain accurate records of mileage, fuel consumption, and vehicle maintenance.
Required Skills
- Valid Nigerian Driver's License (Class E or G)
- Minimum of 4 years of professional driving experience, preferably as a private or corporate driver.
- In-depth knowledge of Lagos road networks, particularly Sangotedo, Lekki-Epe Expressway, and surrounding areas.
- Excellent defensive driving skills and a clean driving record.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to perform basic vehicle maintenance checks and troubleshooting.
- High level of punctuality, reliability, and responsibility.
- Demonstrated ability to exercise discretion and maintain confidentiality.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certification in Defensive Driving or Advanced Driving.
