Your primary responsibilities will revolve around adeptly assisting guests with their luggage, facilitating a smooth and swift check-in and check-out process, and providing valuable, insightful information about the hotel’s extensive amenities and local Akoka and Yaba attractions. Key Responsibilities

  • Warmly greet guests upon arrival and departure, offering immediate assistance with luggage and inquiries.
  • Safely and efficiently transport guest luggage to and from rooms, vehicles, and storage areas.
  • Assist guests with check-in and check-out procedures, ensuring a seamless experience.
  • Provide accurate and engaging information about hotel facilities, services, and local attractions in Akoka/Yaba.
  • Escort guests to their rooms, offering explanations of room features and amenities.
  • Assist guests with transportation arrangements, including taxis, car services, and public transport directions.
  • Promptly deliver messages, packages, and amenities to guest rooms.
  • Maintain a clean, tidy, and organized hotel lobby, entrance, and bell stand area.
  • Respond courteously and efficiently to guest requests and complaints, escalating to management when appropriate.
  • Adhere strictly to all hotel safety, security, and privacy procedures regarding guest belongings and personal information.
  • Collaborate effectively with the front desk, concierge, housekeeping, and other hotel departments to ensure guest satisfaction.

Required Skills

  • Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to lift and carry heavy luggage (up to 50 lbs / 23 kg) frequently and safely.
  • Physical stamina to stand, walk, and lift for extended periods throughout a shift.

  • Basic knowledge of hotel operations and guest service principles.

Preferred Qualifications
