Career.zycto is seeking a highly diligent and experienced Compliance Monitoring Officer to join our dedicated team in Innenstadt, Oldenburg. Key Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and maintain comprehensive compliance monitoring programs and frameworks to ensure adherence to relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies.
  • Conduct regular and ad-hoc compliance reviews, assessments, and audits across various business units and processes, identifying potential areas of non-compliance and risk.
  • Develop detailed reports on compliance findings, risks, and recommendations for remediation, presenting these to senior management and relevant committees.
  • Monitor changes in regulatory landscapes (local, national, and international) and assess their potential impact on the company’s operations, updating internal policies and procedures as necessary.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance to business units on compliance matters, fostering a proactive approach to risk management.
  • Collaborate with legal, risk management, and internal audit teams to ensure a coordinated approach to governance, risk, and compliance (GRC).
  • Oversee the implementation of corrective actions arising from monitoring activities, tracking progress and effectiveness.
  • Assist in the development and delivery of compliance training programs for employees, raising awareness and promoting a strong compliance culture.
  • Investigate and document compliance-related incidents, breaches, or complaints, ensuring timely and appropriate resolution.
  • Stay abreast of industry best practices, emerging compliance risks, and technological advancements in compliance monitoring tools.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience (minimum 4 years) in compliance, risk management, or internal audit roles, preferably within a regulated industry.
  • Strong understanding of relevant German and EU regulatory frameworks (e.g., GDPR, BaFin regulations, AML).
  • Exceptional analytical skills with a meticulous attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both German (C1+) and English (C1+).
  • Ability to interpret complex regulations and translate them into practical business requirements.
  • Proficiency in compliance management software and data analysis tools.
  • Strong ethical compass and unwavering commitment to integrity.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Law, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
  • Relevant professional certifications (e.g., CAMS, ICA Diploma in Compliance, CRCM).
  • Experience with GRC platforms and process automation tools.
  • Project management experience, particularly in compliance-related projects.
  • Familiarity with the financial services or FinTech sectors in Germany.
