Key Responsibilities

  • Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions, including invoice generation, payment processing, and ledger reconciliation.
  • Perform daily data entry of financial transactions into accounting software with high accuracy.
  • Assist with bank reconciliations and credit card statement reconciliations.
  • Prepare and submit expense reports for approval and processing.
  • Support the preparation of financial reports and statements as needed.
  • Maintain organized and accessible financial records, both physical and digital.
  • Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures.
  • Communicate effectively with vendors and clients regarding billing and payment inquiries.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.

Required Skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., VLOOKUP, pivot tables, formulas).
  • Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero).
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Previous experience (1+ years) in a finance assistant or similar administrative role.
