Key Responsibilities

  • Wash and sanitize dishes, cutlery, pots, pans, and cooking utensils by hand or using industrial dishwashers.
  • Clean and disinfect kitchen surfaces, including countertops, worktables, sinks, and walls.
  • Sweep, mop, and scrub kitchen floors regularly to maintain hygiene standards.
  • Empty trash bins and manage waste disposal according to hotel guidelines.
  • Clean and maintain kitchen equipment such as ovens, grills, fryers, and refrigerators.
  • Assist with basic food preparation tasks when required, under supervision.
  • Ensure cleaning supplies are adequately stocked and organized.
  • Adhere strictly to all health, safety, and hygiene regulations and procedures.
  • Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards immediately to the kitchen supervisor.
  • Maintain a clean and orderly storage area for cleaning equipment and chemicals.
