Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct academic support to students individually or in small groups, reinforcing learning concepts and assisting with assignments.
- Collaborate with lead teachers to implement individualized education plans (IEPs) or other support strategies for students with special needs.
- Assist in maintaining classroom order, managing student behavior, and ensuring a safe and productive learning environment.
- Prepare, organize, and distribute instructional materials, learning aids, and classroom resources.
- Monitor student progress, observe behavioral patterns, and provide timely feedback to teachers regarding student performance and challenges.
- Supervise students during non-instructional times, including recess, lunch breaks, and transitions between activities.
- Help facilitate classroom activities, projects, and educational games to enhance student engagement.
- Assist students with personal care needs if required, maintaining dignity and respect.
- Maintain confidentiality of student information and adhere to all school policies and procedures.
