Job Description

Panagora Marketing Ltd. is seeking a dedicated Order Picker to join our warehouse team in Rivière du Rempart. As an Order Picker, you will be a crucial part of our supply chain, responsible for accurately and efficiently picking customer orders, ensuring they are ready for timely dispatch. This role involves precise selection of various products, careful packaging, and maintaining a clean and safe working environment. You will operate various warehouse equipment (once trained and certified) and collaborate closely with your team members to uphold our high standards of service and operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities
- Accurately pick and retrieve customer orders from warehouse shelves and storage areas according to picking lists or voice commands.
- Verify product quantities, types, and quality before packing to ensure order accuracy and prevent discrepancies.
- Safely operate manual and powered material handling equipment, such as pallet jacks and forklifts (if certified), to move products within the warehouse.
- Prepare orders for shipment by packing, strapping, wrapping, and labeling them appropriately, ensuring products are protected during transit.
- Assist with loading and unloading trucks, adhering to safety protocols and efficient handling practices.
- Perform regular inventory counts and assist in maintaining accurate inventory records.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment, following all company safety procedures and guidelines.
- Report any damaged products, equipment malfunctions, or safety hazards to supervisors promptly.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and other departments to ensure smooth warehouse operations and meet daily targets.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures, including those related to quality control and hygiene standards.
Required Skills
- Proven ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to order accuracy.
- Basic numeracy and literacy skills for reading picking lists and counting inventory.
- Physical fitness and ability to lift heavy items (up to 25kg) and stand for extended periods.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.
- Understanding and adherence to safety procedures in a warehouse setting.
Preferred Qualifications
- High School Certificate (SC/HSC) or equivalent.
- Minimum of 6 months of experience in a warehouse, logistics, or order picking role.
- Valid forklift operator's license (an advantage but not mandatory, training may be provided).
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) or inventory tracking software.
