Key Responsibilities
- Warmly greet and seat guests in the restaurant, presenting menus and explaining daily specials.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring all special requests and dietary restrictions are communicated to the kitchen staff.
- Serve food and beverages promptly and professionally, maintaining an organized and clean dining area.
- Provide excellent customer service, anticipating guest needs and responding to inquiries or concerns with a friendly and helpful demeanor.
- Process payments accurately, handle cash and card transactions, and manage the point-of-sale (POS) system.
- Assist in setting up and clearing tables, ensuring cleanliness and proper arrangement before, during, and after service.
- Collaborate effectively with kitchen staff, bar staff, and other team members to ensure smooth service operations.
- Maintain knowledge of all menu items, ingredients, preparation methods, and wine/beverage pairings.
- Adhere to all health, safety, and hygiene standards in accordance with hotel policies and local regulations.
