Career.zycto is seeking a highly creative, organized, and experienced Freelance Event Planner specializing in both wedding and corporate events. This is a unique opportunity for a self-motivated professional to join our network and manage a diverse portfolio of events, from intimate nuptials to large-scale corporate conferences and product launches across Norman Gardens, Kingston, and surrounding areas. As a freelance planner, you will be instrumental in bringing our clients’ visions to life, ensuring every detail is meticulously planned and executed to perfection. You will be responsible for the entire event lifecycle, from initial concept development and client consultation to budget management, vendor coordination, on-site management, and post-event follow-up.

Key Responsibilities
- Consult with clients to understand their vision, objectives, and budget for both wedding and corporate events.
- Develop detailed event proposals, including themes, concepts, décor, catering, entertainment, and logistics.
- Create and manage comprehensive event timelines, production schedules, and critical path documents.
- Source, negotiate, and manage contracts with vendors (venues, caterers, florists, photographers, entertainers, AV specialists, etc.).
- Prepare and oversee event budgets, ensuring adherence to financial parameters and cost-efficiency.
- Coordinate all logistical elements, including transportation, accommodation, permits, and registration.
- Manage on-site event execution, overseeing setup, ensuring smooth operations, and resolving any issues promptly.
- Provide exceptional client communication and support throughout the planning process and during the event.
- Conduct post-event evaluations to gather feedback and identify areas for improvement.
Required Skills
- Minimum 4 years of proven experience in event planning, with a focus on both wedding and corporate events.
- Exceptional organizational and project management skills.
- Strong negotiation and vendor management abilities.
- Proficiency in budget management and financial tracking.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
