Key Responsibilities
- Design intuitive, engaging, and aesthetically pleasing user interfaces for web applications and websites.
- Develop wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows, and sitemaps to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas.
- Translate concepts into user flows, wireframes, mockups, and prototypes that lead to intuitive user experiences.
- Conduct user research and evaluate user feedback to improve and optimize UI designs.
- Collaborate with product management and engineering to define and implement innovative solutions for the product direction, visuals, and user experience.
- Establish and promote design guidelines, best practices, and standards.
- Present and defend designs and key milestone deliverables to peers and executive level stakeholders.
- Ensure all designs are responsive and optimized for various devices and screen sizes.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest UI trends, techniques, and technologies.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar design tools.
- Solid understanding of user-centered design (UCD) principles, common UI/UX patterns, and responsive design.
- Demonstrable UI design skills with a strong portfolio.
- Excellent visual design skills with sensitivity to user-system interaction.
- Ability to present your designs and articulate your choices to various stakeholders.
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
- Fluency in English (written and spoken).
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Design, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Experience with front-end development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) to understand technical constraints.
- Familiarity with motion design principles and tools.
- Experience with user testing methodologies and A/B testing.
- Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG).
