Key Responsibilities
- Sort laundry into appropriate categories based on fabric type, color, and required cleaning methods.
- Operate commercial washing, drying, and ironing equipment safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload machines, ensuring proper use of detergents, bleaches, and softeners according to guidelines.
- Inspect all laundered items for cleanliness, stains, and damage, re-washing or treating as necessary.
- Iron, press, fold, and neatly stack linens, towels, and staff uniforms.
- Maintain accurate inventory of laundry supplies and report needs to management.
- Adhere strictly to all health, safety, and hygiene standards and procedures.
- Keep the laundry area clean, organized, and free of hazards at all times.
- Assist with other housekeeping duties as needed to support hotel operations.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or maintenance issues promptly.
