Key Responsibilities
- Assist Project Managers in coordinating translation and localization projects from initiation to delivery.
- Prepare project files, including source documents, glossaries, and reference materials for linguists.
- Communicate effectively with internal teams, linguists, and external vendors to assign tasks and track progress.
- Monitor project timelines and ensure adherence to deadlines and quality standards.
- Perform initial quality checks and reviews on translated content to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Support with various administrative tasks such as data entry, invoicing assistance, and file organization.
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation and update internal management systems regularly.
- Handle client inquiries and provide timely updates under the supervision of project managers.
- Learn and effectively utilize translation management tools (TMS) and computer-assisted translation (CAT) software.
- Collaborate proactively with internal teams, including sales, DTP, and quality assurance, to ensure seamless project delivery.
Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Linguistics, Translation, Communications, International Relations, or a related field.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Strong organizational skills and proven ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
