Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare examination rooms prior to the start of assessments, ensuring all necessary materials (papers, stationery, etc.) are correctly set out and seating arrangements comply with regulations.
  • Distribute examination papers and instructions clearly to candidates.
  • Actively supervise candidates throughout the examination period, maintaining a vigilant watch to prevent any instances of malpractice or breaches of regulations.
  • Respond calmly and effectively to candidate queries, adhering strictly to guidelines on what information can be provided.
  • Manage unexpected situations (e.g., candidate illness, fire alarm) in accordance with established emergency procedures.
  • Ensure all examination regulations are strictly enforced, providing warnings or reporting incidents as required.
  • Collect all examination papers and materials accurately at the end of the assessment, ensuring nothing is missing.
  • Maintain confidentiality of all examination materials and candidate information.
  • Liaise effectively with lead invigilators, examination officers, and other staff members as needed.
  • Complete all necessary administrative tasks, including attendance registers and incident reports.
  • Ensure candidates leave the examination room in an orderly and quiet manner.
