Key Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and store meat deliveries in accordance with food safety standards.
- Cut, trim, bone, grind, and portion various types of meat (beef, goat, chicken) as per customer orders and shop requirements.
- Operate and maintain butchery equipment safely and efficiently, including saws, slicers, and grinders.
- Ensure all meat products are displayed attractively and correctly labeled with pricing and relevant information.
- Assist customers with their meat selections, provide advice on cuts, cooking instructions, and storage.
- Maintain a clean and hygienic work environment, adhering strictly to food safety and sanitation regulations.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering to minimize waste and ensure product availability.
- Adhere to all health and safety guidelines and company policies.
- Contribute to a positive team atmosphere and provide support to colleagues as needed.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Butcher with strong knife skills.
- In-depth knowledge of various meat cuts and preparation techniques.
- Excellent understanding and practice of food safety and hygiene standards.
- Ability to operate butchery equipment safely and effectively.

- Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift heavy cuts of meat.
