Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations, maintenance, and general cleanliness of the hostel premises, including common areas, hallways, and exterior.
- Conduct routine inspections to identify and address maintenance needs (e.g., plumbing, electrical, carpentry minor repairs).
- Coordinate and supervise external contractors for major repairs and specialized services, ensuring quality and timely completion.
- Respond promptly to resident requests and complaints, addressing issues efficiently and professionally.
- Enforce hostel rules and regulations to ensure a safe, peaceful, and respectful living environment for all residents.
- Manage waste disposal and recycling programs effectively.
- Monitor security systems and ensure the safety of residents and property.
- Maintain an inventory of supplies and equipment, requisitioning new items as needed.
- Assist with resident check-ins and check-outs, including room inspections.
- Prepare and submit reports on maintenance activities, incidents, and occupancy as required.
