Key Responsibilities
- Assist senior mobile mechanics with vehicle diagnostics, maintenance, and repair tasks at various client locations.
- Prepare tools, equipment, and parts required for each service appointment.
- Perform basic vehicle checks, fluid top-ups, tire inspections, and minor repairs under supervision.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including the service vehicle and client's immediate surroundings.
- Communicate effectively and professionally with clients, ensuring a positive service experience.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company procedures during all service operations.
- Document service details, including parts used and work performed, accurately.
- Assist with roadside assistance calls as needed, demonstrating calm and effective problem-solving.
- Continuously learn and develop mechanical skills and knowledge through hands-on experience and training.
Required Skills
- Basic understanding of automotive mechanics and vehicle systems.
- Valid Mozambican driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to operate basic hand and power tools safely.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects and work in various weather conditions.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Willingness to travel locally within Maputo and surrounding areas.
Preferred Qualifications
