This position requires not only technical prowess but also strong interpersonal skills, as you’ll be interacting directly with clients in their homes. Key Responsibilities
- Travel to customer homes within Kakamega and surrounding areas to diagnose and repair electronic devices.
- Perform on-site troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of various consumer electronics (TVs, audio systems, home appliances, etc.).
- Communicate effectively with customers, explaining technical issues, repair options, and estimated costs clearly and courteously.
- Provide accurate job estimates and collect payments upon completion of service.
- Maintain detailed records of services performed, parts used, and customer interactions.
- Ensure all repairs comply with safety standards and company guidelines.
- Manage and maintain personal inventory of tools and frequently used spare parts.
- Offer advice on proper usage and preventive maintenance to extend the lifespan of electronic devices.
- Adhere to scheduled appointments and manage time efficiently to meet service demands.
- Represent the company professionally and courteously at all times.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in repairing a wide range of consumer electronics.
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
- Proficiency in using testing equipment and repair tools.
