Key Responsibilities

- Conduct interviews with sources, experts, and community members to gather accurate and comprehensive information.
- Write clear, concise, and engaging news reports for broadcast and digital platforms, adhering to strict deadlines.
- Present news segments on-air or on-camera with professionalism and credibility.
- Verify facts, sources, and information rigorously to ensure accuracy and avoid misinformation.
- Collaborate with producers, editors, and camera crews to develop and deliver compelling news packages.
- Utilize multimedia tools and social media platforms to enhance storytelling and audience engagement.
- Stay informed on current events, political developments, social trends, and community issues.
- Develop and maintain a network of contacts within the community to facilitate news gathering.
- Adhere strictly to journalistic ethics, legal requirements, and company editorial guidelines.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a News Reporter or Journalist, preferably in broadcasting.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English and French (Creole an advantage).
- Strong interviewing and investigative reporting abilities.

- Proficiency in using digital recording equipment, cameras, and editing software.
- Demonstrated understanding of journalistic ethics and media law.
