Key Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and organize large datasets from various sources to ensure data integrity and accuracy for analytical purposes.
- Perform detailed data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights relevant to business objectives and project goals.
- Develop and maintain interactive dashboards, comprehensive reports, and compelling data visualizations using leading BI tools (e.g., Microsoft Power BI, Tableau).
- Support project managers and business stakeholders with ad-hoc reporting and analytical requests, providing timely and accurate information.
- Translate complex data findings and statistical analyses into clear, concise, and actionable recommendations for both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Collaborate with IT and development teams to improve data collection methods, enhance data quality, and optimize analytical infrastructure.
- Assist in defining key performance indicators (KPIs) and tracking progress against strategic goals, reporting on variances and opportunities.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform business strategies and identify potential areas for growth or improvement.
- Document analytical processes, methodologies, and findings for future reference, knowledge sharing, and compliance requirements.
- Participate actively in requirement gathering sessions with business users to deeply understand their data needs and translate them into technical specifications.
Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field.
- 2+ years of progressive experience in business analysis, data analysis, or a similar analytical role.
- Proficiency in SQL for advanced data querying, manipulation, and database management.
- Strong hands-on experience with data visualization tools such as Microsoft Power BI or Tableau.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate complex data insights effectively and persuasively to diverse audiences.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP, complex formulas, macros).
- Solid understanding of relational databases, data warehousing concepts, and ETL processes.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in a relevant analytical or business-related field.
- Experience with statistical analysis software (e.g., R, Python with Pandas/NumPy/SciPy libraries).
- Familiarity with cloud data platforms and services (e.g., Azure Data Factory, AWS S3/Redshift, Google BigQuery).
- Previous experience working in a fast-paced consulting environment or a large enterprise setting.
- Certification in business analysis (CBAP, CCBA) or project management (PMP/CAPM).
