Key Responsibilities
- Participate actively in all aspects of the structured training program for bus conductors/operators.
- Learn and apply safe driving practices, traffic laws, and company policies and procedures.
- Master fare collection systems and ensure accurate handling of passenger payments.
- Provide friendly, professional, and helpful assistance to passengers, including answering questions about routes and schedules.
- Monitor passenger activity to ensure safety and maintain a positive environment onboard the bus.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, supervisors, and other team members.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles as instructed.
- Report any mechanical issues, incidents, or passenger concerns promptly and accurately.
- Adhere strictly to schedules while ensuring passenger comfort and safety.
Required Skills
- Valid Class 5 (or equivalent) driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to learn and follow detailed instructions.
- Basic mathematical skills for fare collection.
