Key Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of cleaning activities such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, polishing, and vacuuming all designated areas.
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, kitchens, and common areas, ensuring high standards of hygiene are consistently met.
- Empty waste bins, transport waste to designated disposal areas, and ensure proper waste segregation.
- Replenish supplies such as toilet paper, soap, paper towels, and other essential items in restrooms and other areas.
- Operate various cleaning equipment safely and efficiently, including vacuum cleaners, floor buffers, and pressure washers (where applicable).
- Report any maintenance issues, damages, or safety hazards observed during daily operations to the supervisor promptly.
- Adhere strictly to health and safety regulations, company policies, and best practices related to cleaning chemicals and equipment.
- Assist with setting up and tidying meeting rooms or event spaces as required.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, notifying management when supplies are low or equipment needs servicing.
- Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure all operational areas are clean and presentable.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support the overall operational efficiency and cleanliness of the facility.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in a similar cleaning or housekeeping role (minimum 6 months)
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and manage time effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
- Physical stamina and the ability to perform tasks requiring standing, bending, lifting (up to 20kg), and repetitive motions.
- Reliability and punctuality are essential.
- Basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals and their safe usage.
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
