Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular patrols of hotel premises, including guest areas, back-of-house, parking lots, and perimeter, identifying and reporting any suspicious activities or safety hazards.
  • Monitor CCTV systems and alarms, responding promptly to alerts and investigating incidents.
  • Control access to the hotel by verifying credentials for staff, contractors, and visitors, and managing key card systems.
  • Respond effectively to emergency situations such as fires, medical incidents, and security breaches, initiating appropriate protocols and coordinating with emergency services.
  • Complete detailed and accurate incident reports, daily log entries, and other necessary documentation.
  • Provide assistance to guests and staff with security-related concerns, including lost and found items, and offer general information.
  • Enforce hotel policies and procedures to ensure a safe and orderly environment.
  • Liaise with local law enforcement and emergency services as required.
  • Conduct package and bag inspections as per hotel policy.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development programs to enhance security knowledge and skills.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience in security operations, preferably within a hotel or hospitality environment.
  • Excellent observational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Ability to remain calm and effective in high-pressure situations.
  • Proficiency in basic first aid and emergency response procedures.
  • High level of integrity, professionalism, and discretion.
  • Physical fitness and ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods.
