Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic sourcing initiatives to secure high-quality goods and services at competitive prices, aligning with company objectives.
  • Conduct comprehensive market research and analysis to identify new suppliers, assess market trends, and evaluate potential risks and opportunities.
  • Manage the end-to-end procurement process, including vendor selection, RFP/RFQ issuance, bid analysis, contract negotiation, and supplier onboarding.
  • Negotiate favorable terms, conditions, and pricing with suppliers to achieve cost savings and optimize total cost of ownership.
  • Monitor supplier performance, ensuring adherence to contractual agreements, quality standards, and delivery schedules.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders (e.g., Engineering, Production, R&D, Quality) to understand material requirements and support new product development and existing product improvements.
  • Implement and maintain procurement best practices, policies, and procedures to enhance efficiency and compliance.
  • Identify and mitigate supply chain risks, including geopolitical, economic, and operational factors.
  • Maintain accurate procurement records, contracts, and supplier databases using ERP and procurement software.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the procurement function, leveraging technology and process optimization.

Required Skills

  • Minimum of 4 years of progressive experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, or supply chain management.
  • Proven track record of successful negotiation and contract management.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of engaging effectively with internal and external stakeholders globally.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, remote work environment.
  • In-depth understanding of supply chain principles, logistics, and inventory management.
  • High level of integrity and ethical conduct in all procurement activities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
  • Professional certification such as Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) or Certified Purchasing Manager (CPM).
  • Experience with global sourcing and international supplier management.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes and materials commonly used in the foodservice equipment industry.
  • Experience with e-procurement platforms and tools.
  • Project management experience in a procurement context.
