Career.zycto is seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Forklift Operator to join our dedicated team in Laim, Munich. In this pivotal full-time role, you will be instrumental in the smooth and efficient operation of our warehouse and logistics facility. Key Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts (counterbalance, reach truck, etc.) safely and efficiently to move, stack, load, and unload materials.
- Perform daily pre-operation safety checks on forklifts and report any defects or malfunctions immediately.
- Load and unload trucks and containers, ensuring proper weight distribution and securement of goods.
- Transport materials to and from designated storage areas, production lines, and shipping bays.
- Assist in the organization and maintenance of the warehouse, optimizing space and ensuring clear aisles.
- Verify accuracy of incoming and outgoing shipments against manifests and packing lists.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including wearing appropriate PPE.
- Support inventory control by accurately locating and moving stock.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
- Collaborate with other warehouse staff to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of tasks.
Required Skills
- Valid forklift operator license (e.g., Flurfördermittelschein)
- Minimum of 1 year (12 months) of verifiable experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or logistics setting.
- Demonstrated knowledge of warehouse safety procedures and practices.
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 25 kg) occasionally.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in material handling.
- Basic understanding of inventory procedures.
