Career.zycto is actively seeking a diligent and physically capable Freight Loader to join our robust operations team in Pasing, Munich. This full-time role is crucial for ensuring the smooth and efficient handling of goods within our warehouse and during the loading/unloading process. You will be at the heart of our logistics chain, responsible for accurately and safely moving a wide variety of freight, from individual packages to palletized cargo. Your day-to-day involves sorting, stacking, organizing goods, operating material handling equipment like pallet jacks and forklifts (if certified), and meticulously checking manifests against incoming and outgoing shipments. Key Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently load and unload freight, by hand or using material handling equipment.
- Sort, organize, and stack goods in designated warehouse areas to optimize space.
- Verify cargo against shipping manifests and invoices, ensuring accuracy of all shipments.
- Inspect freight for damage and immediately report any discrepancies or issues.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety policies and procedures, including proper lifting techniques.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including loading docks and aisles.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in a warehouse, logistics, or freight handling environment.
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects regularly (up to 25 kg) and perform physical tasks.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in managing freight.
- Reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.
- Basic understanding of warehouse safety procedures and practices.
- Good communication skills in German or English.
Preferred Qualifications
- Valid forklift operator certification (Flurfördermittelschein).
- Experience with various types of material handling equipment.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) or scanning equipment.
