Key Responsibilities
- Warmly greet and welcome all guests upon arrival, creating a positive first impression.
- Manage reservations, walk-ins, and seating arrangements efficiently using a POS/reservation system.
- Escort guests to their tables, present menus, and introduce them to their server.
- Maintain an accurate waitlist and provide guests with estimated waiting times.
- Answer phone calls professionally, providing information and taking reservations.
- Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the host stand and entrance area.
- Collaborate with servers, bussers, and kitchen staff to ensure smooth dining service.
- Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and special requests with grace and efficiency.
- Promote a positive and welcoming atmosphere for all patrons.
- Support other front-of-house operations as needed, including light cleaning and menu upkeep.
