Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation of accurate and timely financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
  • Gather and analyze financial data from various sources, ensuring data accuracy and consistency.
  • Reconcile bank statements, ledger accounts, and other financial records to identify and resolve discrepancies.
  • Support the finance team during month-end and year-end close processes.
  • Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities, providing relevant financial data and analysis.
  • Prepare ad-hoc financial analyses and reports as required by management.
  • Ensure compliance with internal financial policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with internal and external auditors during financial audits.
  • Maintain organized and accessible financial records and documentation.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of financial reporting processes and systems.

Required Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a finance or accounting role, specifically involving financial reporting.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles (IFRS/GAAP) and financial statements.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, advanced formulas).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a high attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Fluent in English.

Preferred Qualifications

  • CPA, ACCA, CMA, or equivalent professional certification (or actively pursuing).
  • Experience with major ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks).
  • Prior experience in the UAE market or with international reporting standards.
  • Ability to speak Arabic is a plus.
