Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of accurate and timely financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Gather and analyze financial data from various sources, ensuring data accuracy and consistency.
- Reconcile bank statements, ledger accounts, and other financial records to identify and resolve discrepancies.
- Support the finance team during month-end and year-end close processes.
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities, providing relevant financial data and analysis.
- Prepare ad-hoc financial analyses and reports as required by management.
- Ensure compliance with internal financial policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with internal and external auditors during financial audits.
- Maintain organized and accessible financial records and documentation.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of financial reporting processes and systems.
Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a finance or accounting role, specifically involving financial reporting.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles (IFRS/GAAP) and financial statements.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, advanced formulas).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a high attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Fluent in English.
Preferred Qualifications
