Key Responsibilities

  • Execute test cases and scripts meticulously across various platforms (web, mobile, desktop applications).
  • Identify, document, and report software defects, errors, and inconsistencies using issue tracking systems.
  • Perform regression testing, functional testing, usability testing, and performance testing as required.
  • Collaborate closely with software developers and product managers to understand requirements and user stories.
  • Verify bug fixes and ensure that issues are resolved according to specifications.
  • Assist in maintaining and updating test documentation, including test plans and test case libraries.
  • Provide constructive feedback and contribute to the improvement of testing processes and methodologies.
  • Participate in team meetings and communicate testing progress, results, and potential risks.
  • Help set up and maintain test environments for various projects.
  • Learn new tools and technologies relevant to software quality assurance.

Required Skills

  • Basic understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in written and verbal communication (English).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Basic computer literacy, including familiarity with common operating systems and web browsers.
  • Problem-solving aptitude and a proactive approach to identifying issues.
