Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily logistics operations, including inbound shipments, warehousing, and outbound deliveries.
- Plan and optimize transportation routes to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods.
- Manage and maintain accurate inventory records, conducting regular stock counts and reconciling discrepancies.
- Oversee the scheduling and dispatch of delivery vehicles and personnel.
- Liaise with suppliers, transporters, and internal departments to resolve any logistics-related issues promptly.
- Prepare and process all necessary shipping documentation, including invoices, packing lists, and customs forms.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to logistics and report on performance.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations and company policies.
- Assist in the implementation of new logistics software and systems.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains within the logistics and warehouse functions.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Logistics Coordinator or similar role in a warehouse/distribution environment.
- Strong understanding of supply chain management and warehouse operations.
- Proficiency in logistics software and inventory management systems.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
