Career.zycto is seeking a dedicated and experienced Quality Assurance Inspector to join our thriving team in Ottensen, Hamburg. Key Responsibilities
- Perform detailed visual and dimensional inspections of incoming materials, in-process components, and finished products according to specifications.
- Conduct functional tests and quality checks using various measurement tools and equipment, including calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
- Identify, document, and report non-conformities, defects, and deviations from established quality standards and procedures.
- Collaborate closely with production and engineering teams to troubleshoot quality issues and implement effective corrective and preventive actions.
- Maintain accurate, comprehensive, and organized quality control records, logs, and documentation for all inspection activities.
- Assist in the development, review, and refinement of quality inspection procedures, criteria, and work instructions.
- Ensure strict adherence to all relevant industry standards, regulatory requirements (e.g., ISO 9001), and internal quality management systems.
Required Skills
- Proven experience (2+ years) as a Quality Assurance Inspector or in a similar quality control role.
- Strong understanding of quality control methodologies, tools, and statistical process control.
- Ability to read and accurately interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and engineering specifications.
- Exceptional attention to detail and keen observational skills to detect subtle defects.
- Proficiency in both German and English, excellent communication skills for documentation and collaboration.
- Competency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word) for data entry and report generation.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Relevant certification in Quality Assurance (e.g., ASQ Certified Quality Inspector, Six Sigma Yellow Belt).
- Hands-on experience with ISO 9001 quality management systems and auditing processes.
