Key Responsibilities
- Warmly welcome guests upon arrival and efficiently manage check-in and check-out procedures.
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and resolve complaints promptly and professionally to ensure satisfaction.
- Accurately process reservations, cancellations, and modifications using the hotel's booking system.
- Manage guest accounts, process payments, and ensure all billing is correct and transparent.
- Operate multi-line telephone systems, directing calls to appropriate departments and providing information.
- Provide comprehensive information about hotel services, facilities, and local attractions in Lokoja.
- Maintain a tidy, organized, and presentable front desk area at all times.
- Collaborate effectively with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to ensure guest rooms are prepared and issues are swiftly resolved.
- Perform night audit duties as required, including balancing daily transactions and preparing reports.
- Uphold stringent hotel security and safety standards, responding to emergencies as necessary.
Required Skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Demonstrable strong customer service orientation and interpersonal skills.
