Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a diverse menu of coffee, espresso, tea, and other beverages with consistent quality and speed.
- Operate and maintain all coffee-making equipment, ensuring cleanliness and proper functionality.
- Process customer orders and payments accurately using a point-of-sale (POS) system.
- Engage with customers in a friendly, professional, and efficient manner, providing recommendations and product knowledge.
- Manage inventory of coffee beans, milk, syrups, and other supplies, notifying management of stock levels.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting coffee bar area, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
- Educate customers on different coffee types, brewing methods, and specialty drinks.
- Consistently achieve high standards in beverage presentation, including latte art.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly and courteously.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a barista in a high-volume setting (minimum 18 months).
- Expert knowledge of coffee preparation techniques and equipment operation.
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Basic math and cash handling proficiency.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including mornings and afternoons.
- Fluent in English.
