Key Responsibilities
- Clean and tidy all assigned guest rooms and common areas according to established standards and procedures, including making beds, dusting furniture, vacuuming carpets, mopping floors, and sanitizing bathrooms.
- Replenish guest room amenities, linens, and supplies, ensuring all items are correctly stocked and arranged.
- Inspect rooms for repairs or maintenance needs and report any issues promptly to the supervisor.
- Handle guest requests and inquiries with courtesy and efficiency, always maintaining a professional and friendly demeanor.
- Adhere to all health, safety, and hygiene regulations, including proper handling of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of housekeeping trolleys and storage areas.
- Assist with laundry duties, including sorting, washing, drying, folding, and distributing linens when required.
- Collaborate effectively with other hotel departments to ensure seamless guest service and operational efficiency.
- Consistently uphold the hotel's image and service philosophy by providing exceptional service and maintaining a high standard of appearance and conduct.
- Perform deep cleaning tasks periodically as scheduled or directed by the Housekeeping Supervisor.
Required Skills
- Proven ability to clean and maintain rooms to a high standard of hygiene and presentation.
- Strong attention to detail and thoroughness in all cleaning tasks.
- Ability to work efficiently and manage time effectively to complete assigned tasks within deadlines.
- Good physical stamina and ability to perform duties requiring bending, lifting, pushing, and pulling.
- Reliability and punctuality, with a strong commitment to attendance.
- Basic understanding of cleaning chemicals and safety procedures.
- Excellent communication skills and a courteous attitude towards guests and colleagues.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience (6+ months) as a Housekeeper in a hotel or similar hospitality environment.
