Key Responsibilities
- Provide person-centred care, including assistance with personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility.
- Administer medication in accordance with care plans and company policy.
- Assist with meal preparation, ensuring dietary requirements are met, and support with feeding if necessary.
- Perform light household tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and tidying to maintain a safe and comfortable home environment.
- Provide companionship and engage clients in stimulating activities, promoting mental and emotional well-being.
- Support clients with shopping, appointments, and other errands, facilitating their independence.
- Accurately record and report on client care, noting any changes in health, behaviour, or condition.
- Communicate effectively with clients, their families, and other healthcare professionals.
Required Skills

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Reliability, punctuality, and a strong sense of responsibility.
- Basic understanding of health and safety procedures.
- Full UK driving license and access to own transport for home visits.
Preferred Qualifications
- SVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent).
- Previous experience working in a care environment.
- First Aid qualification.
