Key Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently transport medications and medical supplies to designated locations (patient homes, clinics, pharmacies) within Anchilo, Nampula.
- Verify medication orders against delivery manifests to ensure accuracy before dispatch and upon delivery.
- Handle all medical packages with utmost care, adhering to proper storage and transport guidelines, including temperature control when required.
- Plan and follow the most efficient delivery routes using maps or GPS, ensuring timely arrivals.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and obtain necessary signatures or confirmations upon successful delivery.
- Communicate effectively and courteously with patients, caregivers, and healthcare professionals.
- Report any delivery discrepancies, issues, or unusual circumstances promptly to supervisors.
- Adhere to all local traffic laws, company safety policies, and healthcare privacy regulations (e.g., patient confidentiality).
- Perform routine checks on the delivery vehicle (if company-provided) or personal vehicle to ensure it is in safe operating condition.
Required Skills
- Valid driver's license (motorcycle or light vehicle) suitable for use in Mozambique.
- Excellent knowledge of local roads and areas within Anchilo, Nampula.
