Key Responsibilities
- Greet and seat guests warmly, presenting menus and daily specials with detailed explanations to enhance their dining choices and overall experience.
- Accurately take food and beverage orders, utilizing point-of-sale (POS) systems, and confidently offer recommendations or upsell where appropriate to elevate the guest experience.
- Serve meals and beverages promptly, efficiently, and courteously, ensuring presentation standards are consistently met and addressing any immediate guest needs or requests.
- Process payments accurately, handling cash and card transactions with precision, and manage end-of-shift reconciliation with thoroughness and integrity.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting dining area, which includes setting and clearing tables, refilling water glasses, and preparing the space for subsequent guests.
- Collaborate seamlessly and effectively with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth service delivery, recognizing that clear and timely communication is key to operational success.
- Respond professionally and courteously to guest inquiries, feedback, and concerns, demonstrating problem-solving skills to ensure swift resolution and guest satisfaction.
- Adhere strictly to all food safety and hygiene regulations, ensuring a safe and clean environment for both guests and colleagues at all times.
