Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular patrols of the estate premises, ensuring all areas are secure.
  • Monitor surveillance cameras and alarm systems, responding promptly to any irregularities.
  • Control access to the estate, verifying identities of visitors and ensuring proper authorization.
  • Maintain accurate records of incidents, daily activities, and visitor logs.
  • Respond effectively to emergencies, including medical incidents, fires, and security breaches.
  • Enforce estate rules and regulations, ensuring compliance by residents and visitors.
  • Liaise with local law enforcement when necessary and provide assistance as required.
  • Report any suspicious activities or potential security threats to estate management.
  • Provide excellent customer service to residents, assisting with inquiries related to security.
  • Conduct routine checks of all entry and exit points, including gates and fences.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience as a Security Officer or similar role, preferably in a residential setting.
  • Strong observational and surveillance skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to operate security equipment and systems (CCTV, alarms).
  • Physical fitness and ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods.
  • High level of integrity, professionalism, and ethical conduct.
  • Basic knowledge of first aid and emergency response procedures.
  • Capacity to remain calm and decisive under pressure.
  • Must possess a valid security training certificate or license.
