Key Responsibilities
- Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene in all kitchen, scullery, and food preparation areas.
- Efficiently wash, sanitize, and store all crockery, cutlery, glassware, and kitchen utensils using appropriate equipment.
- Operate and maintain dishwashing machines and other cleaning apparatus according to established procedures.
- Assist with the receiving, checking, and proper storage of deliveries, ensuring correct stock rotation.
- Support kitchen staff and waitstaff with various tasks, including setting up and clearing service areas as needed.
- Collect and dispose of waste and recycling materials in accordance with hotel policies and environmental guidelines.
- Monitor cleaning supply inventory and report needs to management to ensure continuous availability.
- Report any equipment malfunctions, breakages, or maintenance requirements promptly to ensure operational continuity.
- Adhere strictly to all health, safety, and sanitation regulations, including HACCP principles.
- Ensure all back-of-house areas, including storerooms and loading docks, are clean, organized, and clutter-free.
Required Skills
- Strong understanding of hygiene and sanitation best practices in a food service environment.
- Physical stamina and the ability to lift, push, and carry moderate weights.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.

- Basic understanding of inventory management for cleaning supplies.
