Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and set up the breakfast buffet area according to established standards, ensuring all food items are fresh, attractively displayed, and replenished promptly.
- Greet guests warmly, assist with seating, and attend to their requests and inquiries in a friendly and professional manner.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including tables, chairs, floors, and service stations throughout breakfast service.
- Monitor food levels and temperatures, ensuring compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations.
- Clear tables efficiently, clean and reset them for the next guests, and assist with dishwashing as needed.
- Handle guest feedback and complaints gracefully, escalating issues to management when necessary to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Collaborate effectively with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure smooth and efficient service.
- Assist with inventory management and reporting for breakfast items, minimizing waste.
- Perform closing duties, including breakdown of the buffet, cleaning equipment, and securing the dining area.
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
Required Skills
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to work early morning shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods, lift, and carry trays/equipment.
- Basic understanding of food safety and sanitation practices.

Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience (at least 6 months) in a hotel, restaurant, or catering environment.
- Hospitality or Food Service certification.
- Familiarity with various breakfast food items and preparation methods.
- Ability to speak multiple languages (e.g., Igbo, English) is a plus.
