Key Responsibilities
- Receive and accurately process guest room service orders via phone or in-person.
- Carefully set up and arrange food and beverage items on trays or carts according to service standards.
- Deliver orders to guest rooms in a timely and discreet manner, ensuring accuracy and presentation.
- Present menu items, explain specials, and answer questions regarding food and beverage preparation.
- Upsell complementary items or specials to enhance the guest dining experience.
- Adhere to all food safety and hygiene regulations during preparation and delivery.
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve any service-related issues promptly and professionally.
- Collect payment for orders and process transactions accurately using the POS system.
- Clear used trays and dishware from guest rooms and service areas.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the room service pantry and equipment.
- Collaborate effectively with kitchen staff, front desk, and other hotel departments.
- Assist with inventory and stock rotation as needed.
