As a key member of our data team, you will be responsible for mapping intricate data flows, identifying critical integration points, and implementing robust ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) or ELT (Extract, Load, Transform) processes. Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable data integration solutions (ETL/ELT processes) across various systems and platforms.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, including data architects, engineers, and business analysts, to understand data requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Implement and optimize data pipelines using a variety of tools and programming languages (e.g., SQL, Python).
- Monitor data integration jobs, troubleshoot issues, and ensure data integrity, accuracy, and completeness.
- Develop and maintain documentation for data flows, integration processes, and data models.
- Perform data quality checks and implement strategies to improve data reliability.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of data integration processes, tools, and best practices.
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
- Stay current with emerging data integration technologies and industry trends.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in SQL for complex query writing, data manipulation, and database management.
- Strong experience with ETL/ELT tools and processes (e.g., SSIS, Informatica, Talend, Apache Nifi, Airflow).
- Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts and data modeling principles (star schema, snowflake schema).
- Experience with API integration and working with various data formats (JSON, XML, CSV).
- Proficiency in at least one scripting language (e.g., Python, Java) for data manipulation and automation.
