Key Responsibilities
- Provide attentive, loving, and safe care for children of various ages, adhering to family guidelines and safety protocols.
- Engage children in age-appropriate, educational, and creative activities, including arts and crafts, reading, outdoor play, and supervised outings.
- Assist with daily routines such as preparing healthy meals and snacks, feeding, supervising naps, and managing bedtime rituals.
- Maintain a clean and organized play environment, tidying up after activities and ensuring hygienic conditions.
- Communicate effectively and regularly with parents regarding their child's daily activities, developmental progress, and any concerns or observations.
- Adhere strictly to family rules, established routines, and specific care instructions, including dietary restrictions or medical needs.
- Plan and organize engaging outings to local parks, libraries, museums, or other child-friendly locations.
- Implement positive discipline techniques and guidance that align with the family's values and child development best practices.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of children at all times, including during indoor and outdoor activities and potential transportation if required.
Required Skills
- Proven experience (minimum 2 years) in childcare, such as a nanny, daycare provider, or teaching assistant.
- Current First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain promptly).
