Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Head Chef and other kitchen staff in the preparation and cooking of various dishes.
  • Chop, slice, dice, and portion ingredients accurately and efficiently.
  • Maintain a clean and organised workstation, ensuring all kitchen equipment is sanitised.
  • Follow recipes and specifications precisely to ensure consistency and quality.
  • Monitor and manage food inventory, assisting with stock rotation and waste minimisation.
  • Adhere strictly to all food safety and hygiene regulations (HACCP principles).
  • Receive and store deliveries, verifying quality and quantity of goods.
  • Assist with plating and garnishing dishes to presentation standards.
  • Operate and maintain kitchen equipment safely and effectively.
  • Support the overall kitchen team in daily operations and special events.
