Key Responsibilities
- Load, unload, prepare, and operate a delivery vehicle for various packages across the Harrogate and Leeds areas.
- Deliver a wide variety of items to different addresses and through different routes.
- Follow routes and time schedule, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries.
- Scan packages, complete delivery logs, and obtain customer signatures.
- Communicate effectively with customers, dispatch, and the central team regarding delivery status or issues.
- Adhere to all safety regulations, traffic laws, and company policies.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and fueled delivery vehicle.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally and efficiently.
- Manage cash on delivery transactions accurately when required.
Required Skills
- Valid UK Driving License (Category B)
- Clean driving record
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
