As a Commis Chef, you will be an integral part of the culinary brigade, working closely with higher-ranking chefs to prepare and execute dishes that delight our guests. Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation and production of various dishes, adhering strictly to recipes and culinary standards set by the Head Chef.
  • Perform mise en place duties, including chopping vegetables, preparing meats, and portioning ingredients accurately.
  • Maintain a high standard of hygiene and cleanliness in all kitchen areas, including equipment, utensils, and workstations, following HACCP guidelines.
  • Monitor and manage stock levels of ingredients, ensuring proper rotation and minimizing waste.
  • Assist with receiving and storing food deliveries, verifying quality and quantity.
  • Learn and master various cooking methods and presentation techniques.
  • Follow all health and safety regulations, ensuring a safe working environment.
  • Support the senior chefs in daily kitchen operations and special events.
  • Be proactive in learning, asking questions, and seeking feedback to improve culinary skills.
