Career.zycto is seeking a highly motivated and meticulous Storekeeper to join our operations team in Flacq, Flacq District. Key Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and accurately record all incoming goods and materials.
- Organize and maintain the warehouse/store in a neat, clean, and orderly manner.
- Manage inventory using a computerized system, ensuring accuracy of stock levels.
- Conduct regular physical stock counts and reconcile with system records, identifying and investigating discrepancies.
- Prepare and dispatch outgoing goods according to orders, ensuring correct quantities and documentation.
- Monitor stock levels and report on low stock or potential shortages to the procurement team.
- Operate basic material handling equipment safely (e.g., pallet jacks).
- Adhere to all health, safety, and security policies and procedures within the store.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Storekeeper or in a similar inventory management role.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in inventory management software and MS Office (especially Excel).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and moving goods.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- A diploma or certificate in Supply Chain Management or Logistics.
