Job Description
We are seeking an accomplished and visionary Senior Digital Transformation Consultant to spearhead our strategic initiatives aimed at modernizing our operations and integrating cutting-edge digital solutions across Mimosa Mining Company. This pivotal role demands a deep understanding of digital technologies, business process re-engineering, and change management within a large-scale industrial context, preferably mining. The successful candidate will be instrumental in identifying opportunities for digital leverage, developing robust transformation roadmaps, and overseeing the implementation of innovative solutions that drive efficiency, productivity, and profitability. You will work closely with executive leadership, department heads, and operational teams to assess current state processes, define future state requirements, and champion the adoption of new digital tools and methodologies. This includes but is not limited to, automation of mining processes, predictive maintenance, data analytics for operational insights, digital twin technologies, and enhancing our IT infrastructure for future readiness. Your leadership will be critical in fostering a culture of digital literacy and continuous improvement throughout the organization. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and refine Mimosa Mining Company's digital transformation strategy and roadmap, aligned with business objectives.
- Lead the identification, evaluation, and prioritization of digital initiatives across all operational and support functions.
- Conduct comprehensive analyses of current business processes to identify inefficiencies and opportunities for digital optimization.
- Design and implement innovative digital solutions, including automation, IoT, AI/ML, and advanced analytics platforms.
- Manage cross-functional project teams, ensuring timely delivery of transformation projects within budget and scope.
- Facilitate change management processes to ensure smooth adoption of new technologies and ways of working.
- Provide expert guidance and mentorship to internal teams on digital best practices and emerging technologies.
- Collaborate with vendors and technology partners to source and integrate leading-edge solutions.
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor the effectiveness and ROI of digital transformation initiatives.
- Prepare and present regular updates to senior management on project progress, challenges, and strategic recommendations.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in leading large-scale digital transformation programs in complex organizations.
- Strong understanding of mining operations and the unique challenges and opportunities within the sector.
- Expertise in digital technologies such as IoT, AI/ML, cloud computing, data analytics, and automation.
