Key Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently transport company staff, clients, and materials to various destinations within Lagos and occasionally outside the city.
- Maintain the company vehicle in a clean and excellent working condition, performing daily checks on oil, water, battery, brakes, tires, etc.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, company policies, and safety regulations at all times.
- Plan optimal routes to ensure timely arrivals and departures, accounting for traffic conditions.
- Maintain accurate logbooks of trips, fuel consumption, mileage, and vehicle maintenance records.
- Report any vehicle malfunctions, accidents, or incidents promptly to management.
- Assist with loading and unloading items as required, ensuring their safe delivery.
- Demonstrate professionalism, courtesy, and discretion when interacting with passengers and clients.
- Ensure all vehicle documents (e.g., insurance, license) are valid and up-to-date.
- Be available for occasional extended hours or weekend shifts as operational needs demand.
Required Skills
- Valid Nigerian Driver's License (Class B/C)
- Minimum of 3 years of professional driving experience
- Thorough knowledge of Lagos road networks and traffic regulations
- Excellent defensive driving skills and a clean driving record
- Basic vehicle maintenance knowledge and troubleshooting abilities
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- High level of integrity, reliability, and punctuality
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
