Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive environmental impact assessments (EIAs) and risk assessments for various projects.
- Develop and implement effective Environmental Management Plans (EMPs) and monitoring programs.
- Ensure strict compliance with Singaporean environmental regulations, policies, and international standards.
- Prepare high-quality technical reports, proposals, and presentations for clients and regulatory bodies.
- Provide expert advice on environmental sustainability strategies, waste management, and pollution control.
- Engage with clients, regulatory agencies, and other stakeholders to facilitate project approvals and resolve environmental issues.
- Stay abreast of emerging environmental legislation, industry best practices, and technological advancements.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources efficiently to deliver results within agreed parameters.
- Conduct site visits and field investigations as required, ensuring safety protocols are adhered to.
Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in environmental consulting or a related industry
- Proven experience in conducting EIAs, EMPS, and environmental due diligence.
- Strong knowledge of Singapore's environmental regulations (e.g., NEA, PUB, SCDF requirements).
- Excellent report writing, presentation, and communication skills (verbal and written).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects concurrently.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree or higher in a relevant environmental discipline.
- Professional certification (e.g., Certified Environmental Professional, ISO 14001 Lead Auditor).
- Experience with environmental modelling software or GIS tools.
- Demonstrated experience in sustainability reporting (e.g., GRI, TCFD).
- Prior experience working with public sector clients or large-scale infrastructure projects.
